For the longest time, design seemed to be all about colour, fonts, grids, branding, posters and packaging. Then at some point during uni, you sort of become aware of this thing called Ideo. I didn't even know what it was exactly. A studio? A business? A person? Where was it?

All I remember was the Ideo invented the mouse for Steve Jobs (controversial) and they merged design with strategy and business people and research people and all kinds of design disciplines to solve all kinds of problems. It sounded like utopia.

In 2013, I was lucky enough to join the Singapore team on a series of Australian projects as a communication designer. We helped create Skip and a few other bit's and piece's you've probably used.
