Fairly often in newsletters that I subscribe to I see authors indicate that a link they've included is paid with a '($)' at the end. This is a really great article you should read. Link ($). That kind of thing.
It's often to a site I don't subscribe to, so I wondered tonight if there could be an opportunity there for the newsletter authors to 'buy' a bunch of free reads for their audience?
Maybe you can buy 1,000 users access to a single article on the FT or whatever and get them cheap ($0.X?). Lead gen for the publication and another reason for people to sign up to the authors newsletter.
